A Montana ranching family faces off against others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned rodeo hand. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to his usual SoCal voice. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows Not to Consider (2018). This is the type of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mob life. This series is well cast, the first two episodes were well written and leave you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the scenery of Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.”
