While Cillian Murphy was talking to Tim Mielants again, Murphy’s wife suggested the novel “Little Things Like These” to him; they made it into a film. He didn’t expect the rights to be available, but he called Claire Keegan’s agent, who told him they were.

I didn’t know about it and this film took me back
I grew up in Ireland in the 80s but was raised very far away from that country, but there was a place near me that housed nuns, even though I’m not in my 50s, watching this film makes me think back to the times when there was a girl from one of those places, and the whispers. Powerful.
Cillian’s performance was so understated and the rest of the cast, including the kids, were amazing
