Scenario
He’s smart
He’s well-liked. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights starting them. During Season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible during the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. As the years went by, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I couldn’t see. Theme song written by Rolfe Kent performed by Rolfe Kent.
Dexter, forensic scientist by day, vigilante serial killer by night
Dexter creates a compelling and very detailed portrait of, shall we say, a troubled sociopath. One of the parts of the show I like the most is the emotions that normal people display, forcing Dexter to emulate them. A good laugh when Dexter’s fake emotions become real and he is scared to death, as is the case with his “girlfriend” Rita, a mother of two and victim of her violent ex-boyfriend.
Exciting story, lots of details and one of the best opening sequences ever
I also liked Jennifer Carpenter’s performance as Debra, Dexter’s sister, who gives a nice color to the series, without falling into clichés.
