Scenario
A Montana ranching family faces off against others who are encroaching on their land. Lloyd is played by Forrie J. Smith, a seasoned rodeo veteran. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and drifts back into the SoCal-speaking voice he usually uses… Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big-city mob life. This show is well-acted, the first two episodes are well-written, and it leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of Ewing from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is "Dallas" meets "The Sopranos".

Avildsen shot hours of footage of the tournament from multiple angles
Scenario
Decades after their 1984 All Valley Karate tournament fight, a middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence find themselves as martial arts rivals once again. During the original filming of The Karate Kid, the late director John G. The team behind Cobra Kai searched the studio vault and found a ton of never-before-seen clips, which they incorporated into the show via flashbacks. One of them features Zabka’s real mother performing in the stands from multiple angles, a feat that wasn’t seen until 2018.
Ralph Macchio told Uproxx that there are three brand new takes on the famous crane kick
Many believe that Miyagi’s 39;s 39; on his gravestone is a continuity error, considering that in The Karate Kid 4 (1994) it is stated that his first name is Keisuke, but it was actually previously shown on a sign held for him by Chozen in The Karate Kid 2 (1986) as Nariyoshi. This means that it was The Next Karate Kid who changed his name, while Cobra Kai kept the name he was given earlier. Another interesting fact, however, is that the name given in The Karate Kid Part II was not Miyagi’s original name. In The Karate Kid (1984), Miyagi’s dog tags, attached to the keys to the 1948 Ford Daniel got for his birthday, briefly show that Miyagi’s first name is Hideo.
Nope, any fan of the original trilogy will love it
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Anthony Mackie, Ralph Macchio, and Kira Shabazz (2018) I can’t believe how much I like Cobra Kai. At first I thought this was going to be some corny kids show. The action takes place 34 years after the events of the first film and the 1984 All Valley Karate tournament. This happens after the downfall of Johnny Lawrence (William Zavala) who tries to get his life back on track and opens the famous Cobra Kai dojo.
He’s an absolute breakout star here!
This reignites his rivalry with the successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). I can’t say enough about how good Zabka is here. It’s a shame he didn’t become a bigger star over the years because he showed he could carry the show here. Again, if you’re a fan of the original trilogy, watch this.
I promise you’ll love it!
Looking forward to more seasons in the future.
