Read MoreAdaptation of James Patterson’s series of novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. Sequel to the 2001 film Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap a previously planned sequel to Double Cross.
However, I think it’s the poor cousin of Luther in the UK with Idris Elba. Both he and Cross are considered to have extraordinary psychoanalytic abilities.
In 8 episodes he has the whole “Spideysense” thing and gives an analysis that others can’t see. Then there’s the sloppy acting from some of the bigger actors.
Their scenes don’t do justice to the great acting of the main characters. In this show, he’s the spitting image of Irish rugby coach Andy Farrell.

Moore (the developer of the television series), his team decided to keep the Gaelic words rather than translate them into English.
This idea came from producer David Brown, who said he saw something similar in Skin Deep (1998), a foreign alternative film starring actor and singer Gustavo Goulart. In some episodes, the characters say “OK,” an American term that didn’t come into use until the 19th century. The opening song changes from season to season to reflect what is happening in the plot.
In the first half of the second season (which is set in France), some of the song’s lyrics are in French. In the second half of season 2 (which is mostly about preparations for war), a militaristic drum roll is added to the opening song. In season 4, bluegrass fiddle and banjos are added, and some of the lyrics are sung in a Southern accent, as most of the season is set in America..
Included in Outlander: An Epic Adaptation (2015). The Skye Boat Song (uncredited) Traditional Scottish tune with lyrics by Sir Harold Boulton. New lyrics by Robert Louis Stevenson.
I’m not sure I’ll find my own way back into my life.

Paul Mescal and Tom Burke were originally set to play the lead roles but both dropped out after the project stalled in development and were replaced by Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott.
The whole cast does a fantastic job but the standouts are Nora-Jane Murphy, Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbot (whose accent is unreal for an American).
The themes of abuse, violence and the inability to communicate properly are very closely interwoven here.
