I think this film is important
Bills Dread follows him until Christmas where we learn about his past and come to the conclusion of why he is so evil. I thought it would focus more on the convent and the atrocities that took place there but this was Bill’s story. I felt a pang in my chest throughout the film.
Good watch, well done, 7/10
I wanted him to say something, to do something but at the same time I knew the consequences for him and his family if he dared to question the Church. The fact that these hellholes were open until 1998 is a disgrace and a disgrace to this country and it is infuriating to see the power that the nuns and priests feel they are entitled to.
